Interim & Fractional Rates
Day rates and fractional retainers scaled to the seniority and scope of each role.
All rates are indicative and flexible depending on the engagement — final pricing is always negotiable, agreed based on scope, commitment and the way we work together. All rates are exclusive of VAT; reasonable project expenses such as travel are charged separately at cost. Get in touch to discuss.
Day Rate
Ideal for hands-on delivery, workshops, sprint-based work, or intensive strategic engagements requiring focused daily presence.
Understanding IR35
- • Outside IR35: Engaged by a limited company, provided by Cloudio. The outside IR35 day rate applies.
- • Inside IR35: Engaged by a limited company, provided by Cloudio or via an Umbrella Company if preferred. The inside IR35 day rate applies.
- • Outside the UK / remote: Engagements are discussed case by case, as tax status, rules and regulations vary by country.

Fractional Retainer
A fixed monthly retainer giving you ongoing access to product leadership without the cost of a full-time hire. Scope flexes to your needs each month.
How it works:

Understanding the fractional model
The retainer gives you ongoing access to the product leadership you need, at a level that matches your situation. A Head / Director retainer reflects senior, hands-on strategic involvement; a Product Owner retainer is focused on delivery and backlog management. The value scales accordingly.
